Old Erowal Bay is home base. Ben lives here, so it is the shortest drive we do and usually the easiest suburb to fit in at short notice, with Erowal Bay and Worrowing Heights next door.
A lot of Old Erowal Bay is original brick and fibro from before safety switches were required, sitting in bush and salt air that is hard on an old meter box. Those homes are the ones we upgrade most: fuse board out, modern switchboard in, a safety switch on every circuit. The newer builds and the holiday houses want EV chargers, extra power points and data cabling that reaches the back of the house.
